 For those of you that are unfamiliar with Crabbie’s Ginger Beer, it originated from Edinburgh, Scotland and was created by John Crabbie in 2009. The brand has now go on to become the biggest alcoholic ginger beer in the entire of the UK and is distributed around the world. Because of its meteoric rise, Crabbie’s has seen the brand partner with a host of special events to help promote the brand to new markets. One of the brand’s more notable partnership deals comes in the form of Aintree’s annual race meeting. The Grand National has now been renamed Crabbie’s Grand National for the next two years as the three-year partnership was announced via a slew of high-profile media platforms in 2014. The deal will see them officially sponsor horse racing’s most coveted annual race.  The Telegraph reports that the sponsorship deal will mean the brand will be exposed to over 600 million people who will tune in to watch the event on television across the world. It also indicated that Crabbie’s would have the lion share of the beverage stalls at the event with over 150,000 people attending the event in person over the course of the 3-days. As well as the main race, Crabbie’s will also lend its name to two other races over the course of the 3-days. Firstly, The Crabbie’s Fox Hunters’ Chase and secondly, The Crabbie’s Topham Chase taking place on Ladies’ Day. With the brand typically excelling in the summer months, it seemed a very apt partnership for Crabbie’s to broker. With many people especially in the UK enjoying the range of refreshing Crabbie’s, the brand has gone on to launch even more drinks over the past year including Crabbie’s Mojito, Crabbie’s Moscow Mule and Crabbie’s Surprisingly Tangy Spiced Orange drinks.
