Detroit Lions: Detroit Beer Co.

This is the first appearance from Detroit Beer Co. and they have no shortage of beer either!  Their lineup ranges from the a light beer all the way to Detroit Imperial Stout. I don't even know what that is but I wanna try one!

Green Bay Packers: Hinterland Brewery

This is a repeat appearance for Hinterland and I couldn't be happier. Not only were they incredibly supportive of the "Huddle last season their beer also made some great #beer pairings.

This is the second season for Deep Ellum Brewing Company.  Unfortunately the 'Boys didn't hold up their end of the bargain 'cause this brewery has some awesome beer.  I'm not gonna wait for the Cowboys to make the post season (that may never happen) before I get some Deep Ellum #beerpairings posted so check back soon.

Carolina Panthers: Bird Song Brewing

Another first timer in the 'Huddle and I am really looking forward to learning more about Bird Song all season long. To get started tough, they've got a great line up of session-able beers (7 that come in under 5.7%)and a handful of bigger beers. But it is the session beers that I'm most interested in. A thyme witbier? Dark rye with fig and raisin notes? How about a wheat beer with cherry and plum flavors? They all sound delicious and are sure to make some great #beerpairings this season.

New Orleans Saints: Crescent City Brewhouse

This is the first appearance for North Mountain Brewing Company but don't let that worry you. They have a great lineup ranging from a 4% session to a mighty 10% trippel.  You have to visit their site and look at the names of these beers! Maybe the best names ... ever.

San Francisco 49ers: Thirsty Bear Brewing Co (@ThirstyBearBrew @49ers)

This is the first appearance for Thirsty Bear in the 'Huddle. Located a block away from a children's museum (did you hear that beer geek parents?) this brew pub is an excellent addition. I know we will have plenty of #beerpairing suggestions to warm your '49er heart.

St. Louis Rams: Urban Chestnut Brewing

Oh, I can't wait to learn more about Urban Chestnut. They have a unique philosophy called "Beer Divergency" and two different brewing categories: Urban (American styles) and Chestnut (old world styles). I can't wait to learn more about them!

Seattle Seahawks: Reuben's Brews

Reuben's Brews is also new to the 'Huddle this year.  This brewery uses rye in almost every style they brew. I can't wait to talk to Reuben to find out why he chose do this (I'm not complaining, I love rye in my beer) and what his favorite #beerpairings are.

This is the first appearance for MadTree for this newborn brewery.  Opened in early 2013.  They have a great lineup of beers already and a community that is backing them up.  Now we just have to see if the Bengals can hold up their end of the bargain.

Cleveland Browns: Portside Distillery

Pittsburgh Steelers: East End Brewing

This is a repeat appearance for East End.  They were big supporters of the 'Huddle last season and I am looking forward to the Steelers pulling them into the post season this year.

HopHeads have spoken and they want New Orleans Lager and Ale Company to represent the Saints for the 2013-14 season of HopHeadHuddle!

This is the first HopHeadHuddle appearance for NOLA and I am really excited to learn about this brewery.  They have an awesome lineup of American and Belgian style beers (some of which are canned) with great regional names.  They are also concerned about sustainability, which pleases this bleeding heart's soul.

This is the first HopHeadHuddle appearance for Half Acre and I am really excited to learn about a new Chicago brewery.  Take a look at their lineup, they are another member of the canning craft beer club. I love cans especially when they are filled with great beer.  They have five core canned brands and over 50 (yep 50) seasonal and collaboration beers under their belt!
