I have to say, I thought your predictions were pretty "whack" last week, but it turns out you knew what you were doing.  Way to go.

This week: 4-0
Season Record: 4-2

Brewery Match-ups: Week 3

Well, last week our prognosticating skills fell a little short. I guess that's what happens when you pick the Browns to win and bet against the Broncos.

Now it's time to redeem ourselves!

Season record 0-2

A matchup between two tough demographics. Choose wisely, one of them will rope you and brand you and the other will make you walk the plank. Which would you rather do?  Either way, you'll get to drink some great beer.

Try not to take last week's games as an indicator of potential performance for this game. I know it'll be hard but think about the beer!-)

Bird Song makes it's HHH debut appearance this week and they are ready to host a big city team and well equipped with 11 different core beers.

Both of these breweries are coming off great wins last week. Great Divide is proving to be a powerhouse but can they remain undefeated?  Will Pacific Coast rise to the occasion?  You make the call.

Week 3 would have fallen in our favor if the refs hand't blown that call on Monday night!  So week 3 stands at 1w-2l and 3w-3l for the season.  I am looking to forward to getting that winning record back this week.  4 games will be play and so will we!

Week 3 Predictions

HopHeads have voted and here are the predictions for Week 3! So far HopHeads have correctly predicted 2 out of 3 games.  I am excited

This week's predicted debut breweries bring it strong.  Kind Beers pulls off a, dare I say stunning, win against Brooklyn Brewery.  I am intrigued by their 7.5% pale ale and their Belgian Style Red Ale.  I don't even know what a Belgian Style Red Ale is!

The other predicted debut winner is Hinterland Brewery. I had not heard of this brewery until recently but I can see why they were able to go head to head with Elysian and pull it off. Visit their website to see why!

I am not surprised by the predicted Deep Ellum win.  They have one of the best beer line-ups I have seen.  I must admit that I am secretly rooting for them each week, well not so secretly anymore.  Mind you, I haven't tasted any of their beers, yet. But I like their take on classic styles like the Rye Pils and I would love to try their Rye Imperial Stout!  And just to top it all off their sense of humor with graphic design and naming beers pushes them over the top for me.

Brewery Matchup: Week 3

*Remember* You are voting for a brewery based on the quality of their beer. We don't have enough time in the day to pick spreads or base this on any representative athletic ability.  We are only picking the best brewery/beer lineup in each match up and if that predicts the outcome of the game, then so be it!-)

Week 3 polls will close Wednesday, Sept 19 11:59pm

This is Kind beers First appearance in HopHeadHuddle but with beers like a 7.5% pale ale and a Belgian Style Red Ale (did you guys/gals just make up a brand new style?) they will be hard to beat.

Brooklyn Brewery is 1 for 1 but had a strong showing last week and they may just be starting a streak this week!

Unfortunately, both of these breweries are coming off a defeat last week.  The good news is that one of them has to win this week.  Will TBBC go 1 for 1 or will DE go 2 for 1, time will tell.

I like this mouth watering matchup: Big Elephant Foot IPA (TBBC) v. Rye Pils (DE).

Hinterland Brewery's firs appearance in the HopHeadHuddle pits them against the NW powerhouse Elysian Brewing Co. Elysian is coming off a win last week and Hinterland has its work cut out for them if they want to compete in this league.

Each of these teams have a solid lineup and I am especially interested in this tasty matchup: Great Pumpkin ale (EBC) v. Oktoberfest (HB)
