HopHeads have spoken and they want Bird Song Brewing Co. to represent the Carolina Panthers for the 2013-14 NFL season!

This brewery logo certainly grabs your attention but it's their beer and the fans that love their beer that landed them here in the 2013 HopHeadHuddle.  They've got a great line up of sessionable beers (7 that come in under 5.7%)and a handful of bigger beers. But it is the session beers that I'm most interested in. A thyme witbier? Dark rye with fig and raisin notes? How about a wheat beer with cherry and plum flavors? They all sound delicious and are sure to make some great food pairings this season.

HopHeads have spoken and they want Reuben's Brews to represent the Seattle Seahawks for the 2013-14 NFL season!

Once again, a new brewery to the HopHeadHuddle and I couldn't be more thrilled.  This brewery will be a must visit next time I'm in Seattle because they use one of my favorite grains in nearly every batch.  Let's see if you can guess what it is by the names of his beer: Reuben's Roggenbier, Reuben's Imperial Rye IPA, Roasted Rye PA.  I'll give you a hint it's not Reuben!

It was the only way I could narrow down the field so please don't complain that your favorite brewery was left off the list. 

HopHeads have spoken and they want Urban Chestnut Brewing Company to represent the St. Luis Rams for the 2013-14 NFL season!

This is a an exciting pick as I had not heard of Urban Chestnut before this poll. They have a great lineup of beers, 21 if my counting is correct. They certainly have roots with German style beers but if it's hops you want they have a handful of hoppy beers as well.   I am looking forward to the food pairings as they have some small plates but how can you go wrong with pairing German beers with anything?

HopHeads have spoken and they want Thirsty Bear Brewing Company to represent the San Francisco 49ers for the 2013-14 NFL season!

This is a an exciting pick as I had not heard of Thirsty Bear before this poll. They have a great lineup of beers ranging from a 4.5% pale ale to a 7% IPA.  They're also a restaurant so I know we will have some great beer pairings for you throughout the season.

This is a an exciting pick! I've never heard of 'em before this poll but once I read their beer names like Hugh Hefe and N’erotic Ale, I knew they would get along just fine with this group.
