I'm not even sure what some of that is, but it sounds delicious. I can only imagine that the complementary base built with the bock glaze ties these two together beautifully. The bock's flavor profile will hold its own against the BBQ flavor while the bock's alcohol will help cleanse the palate. The subtle noble hop spices will also resonate with the BBQ. The sweet malt will resonate with the apple sweetness before the slaw can work as the palate cleanser in this pairing.
Option #2: Bourbon-pecan tart with bacon ice cream
I need to find this recipe for sure! For now, I will have to imagine how the sweet malt flavors in the bock resonate with pecan filling OR how the bourbon flavor resonates with the alcoholic strength of the bock OR how bacon bridges the gap between beer, pie and ice cream OR how the ice cream smooths all the flavors together. I just drooled all over my keyboard.
