Swap meets are great photo opportunities especially when you come across a box full of vintage beer cans. My favorite is the "draft beer" can.
 During a family vacation it is always a good idea to check out the local beer scene. If you happen to be traveling through NW Iowa, specifically Okoboji, then you gotta stop at West O Beer. West O Beer is a new brewery (4 weeks old when I visited in late June 2013) brewing some great beer. I tasted all of their beers and wether you are a HopHead (The 10 Foot 10 is 10.10% DIPA) and or something else you are sure to find a beer that you will like. I loved the 10 Foot 10, I am a HopHead after all, but the Pilsner stole the show. A 6% pilsner seems a little big but this beer drinks like a traditional 4% pilsner.  Yep, this just happened. Jamie Floyd was making his way through SoCal doing a meet and greet at Barrelhouse 101 and since I am friends with the owner I got the chance to do an interview. I had a blast and learned about Jamie's checkered homebrewing past and how he became the owner and founding brewer at Ninkasi! *Note: I was so excited to start the interview that I started talking before the server started recording.
