Best In Fest Participant: Whole Lotta Rosé (Casa 25th Anniversary Beer) by #LABBrewingCo @twistedoaktavern

Beer Details: 5% ABV, Saison - aged on zinfandel soaked, French oak spirals with raspberry and hibiscus. Dry, slightly tart, and very refreshing.

Pairing Suggestions: Duck tacos w/cilantro creme fresh, goat cheese with spicy mustard/crackers, roasted chicken, stinky fromage, duck confit, and eggs benedict.

Description: Fruta Mixta ages our Saison de la Casa from the foeder on a blend of apricot, peach, and raspberry. Following several months of re-fermentation Fruta Mixta was back blended to the preferred balance with young and old saisons.

This beer was originally brewed to commemorate my daughter's first birthday and has become a spring/birthday commemorative beer ever since. It has been modified several times in the last 10 years and as my daughter would say, and I tend to agree with her, it has improved with age just like me!
