Recently, I upgraded my home studio with a Behringer mixing board and Sennheiser microphones. I did this for two reasons. First, I wanted to start producing some professional quality podcasts. The mixing board and microphones make professionally produced audio possible. Secondly, I wanted to be able to go to remote locations and do live broadcasts (video and audio). That is why I upgraded to the USB soundboard so I could run the audio through my computer and directly into my broadcasting/recording software. I didn't, however, think about how this would create better audio on my phone. The best part is it is so easy to do. As with anything, the higher quality equipment and the better your audio will sound so don't skimp on the microphones. These are Sennheiser e835's and they are wonderful. With a few adaptors, cables and microphones you will be ready to go! Connect your microphone to and XLR cable, connect cable into one of the Y adapters (repeat for the other microphone if needed) and connect the Y-adapter to the iPhone/XLR adapter. Plug the iPhone/Xlr adapter into your phone and that is it!

Can you identify the big 3lites by site?I am putting together a Kickstarter project and one of the things they encourage you to do is make a project trailer. I don't even know if this will get past the first stage at Kickstarter but I thought I would share the video with you anyway. I am learned a lot of new editing techniques in Adobe Premier for this project and I am looking forward to using them in upcoming style.profile videos!
Ok, so I have had this idea for a while and I finally got around to making the video. I am starting a new video series called beer.pour'n and each video will demonstrate the correct pour for a certain style of glassware. There will be one video for each beer glass style and the proper beer will be poured into each glass. The video in this post is a test video just to see if I could actually do ONE and I could so the game is on! I know the glass and pour aren't perfect in this video but they will be once we start the official video series.
What I am looking for is some musicians to create the cheesiest porn sound track he or she can come up with. I will give you credit at the end and I will also link to your website in the blog post when each video is released. Depending on the number of entries, I may use a different soundtrack for each video. Please share this post around with your musician friends or if you are a musician send your entries to curtis [at] hopheadsaid [dot] com. Dirty pour'n details: 1. The music must be original. 2. You must own all rights to the music. 3. Sound track should be no more than one minute long or it will have to be clipped. I'll do my best to fade it but I can't guarantee anything. A brief explanation of English Pale Ales and food pairing suggestions! Robust PorterI have been trying to get a beer and food pairing book published for about a year now and the only negative comment that I hear is "Your platform isn't big enough." It is a nasty cycle, I can't get a book published unless I have a massive audience and I can't get that audience with out a book ... or a viral video.
So please help me build my platform. Visit my site often, like my Facebook page, follow me on Twitter, watch my YouTube videos and share "ME" with everyone you know. Each like, follow, view or visitor helps me build my platform and reach my goal. I will be ever thankful to my fans who help me get there! |
