Kevin Rhodes, president of Groundswell Brewing Company, joins the #beersuggestioneers during a flight night at Barrelhouse 101. We discuss Kevin's culinary background and Groundswell's brewing philosophy. Oh, and we drink some beer!
Jason, Joby and I get primed for our series with Groundswell Brewing Company with some great beer. In the space of 20 minutes, we cover the growing Ventura beer scene and proper glassware.
In this episode, we discus the origins of coffee and focus on the coffee beers in front of us. We discuss what "breakfast" means and why someone would put coffee in a beer. We also spend some time discussing Institution Ale Company's, Frantic (a coffee porter) and their collaboration with Beacon.
