I had so much fun pairing beer with horror movies last year, I decided to do it again. Not only will you get 31 horror movie/Halloween themed beer pairings but I promise you there won't be any repeats from last year! New movies and different beers!

I knew I had to see this movie when I read this synopsis
"Residents of an Irish island must get very drunk to survive attacks by alien monsters who can't tolerate a high blood alcohol level in their victims."
My kinda movie and a natural pairing for Grabbers Ohara's Irish Red. I picked this beer for 3 reasons.
1. It's brewed in Ireland. Unlike some other "Irish" beers that are brewed in, oh say Canada.
2. It's a damn fine beer.
3. The "red" has a certain connection to the movie.
I agree with the 3.4 (outta 5) rating Netflix gives Grabbers. As with anything, beer will certainly make this movie better and I'd give this pairing a 4/5. However, this beer only clocks in at 4.3% so if you are looking to repel any aliens you may want to spike it with your favorite whiskey.
